The Streaming Giant Selects Perfect Star for Mr. 2 in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is geared up to make a major impact in the next installment of Netflix’s show of One Piece, even if the real showdown isn’t set to occur until season 3, and a beloved, fan-favorite member has just been cast.

Netflix announced recently that the skilled actor will appear in the One Piece season 3 cast and will embody Mr. 2. Bon Clay possesses the power to change into an exact copy of anyone they’ve touched with their main hand. The actor, who is non-binary and goes by they/them, will play a version of that character re-envisioned as non-binary identifying, instead of as a drag performer, in the live-action series, differing from the initial comic and anime.

The new cast member joins multiple fresh additions who will portray the organization to the screen, including leader Mr. 0, played by Joe Manganiello, a talented actress as another operative, and a familiar face, who is also part of the lineup as the ruler of Alabasta.

Although the role is a major member of the group, the persona won’t make their debut One Piece season 3. Given season 2 likely to portray the Little Garden segment, this represents a major departure in the placement of the character’s debut, one that could suggest additional alterations to the narrative framework.

Their mix of sharp comedic timing and profound feeling makes them a ideal selection for the role. In addition to their latest vocal work in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and several accolades for penning and acting in the hit comedy play Oh Mary!, emphasizing the range they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.

Netflix's live-action One Piece program is scheduled to come back for its season two on March 10th, 2026.
