Vince Zampella, Dies in an LA Traffic Collision

The co-creator of Call of Duty, who helped create the wildly popular video game Call of Duty, has tragically died in a vehicle crash in the state of California he was 55 years old.

His passing was confirmed by Electronic Arts, the publisher that controls Respawn Entertainment, a game studio which he helped establish.

The influential video game developer passed away following his car crashed and caught fire on a highway in Los Angeles on this past Sunday, US media outlets report.

"This is a devastating loss, and our hearts are with his family and friends, his family, and everyone impacted by his work," a spokesperson for Electronic Arts commented.
