Ways the Broncos together with their malleable QB can stop the Kansas City Chiefs' rule.

Week six of the 2025 NFL season
Live coverage includes text commentary of Sunday's games via various channels, beginning with the Broncos-Jets clash at Tottenham (from 14:00 BST). Also, radio commentary is available on select stations for a separate game (beginning at 9 PM BST).
We're in the sixth week of the football calendar , following recent discussion about two top teams being possible championship contenders, they both surrendered their unbeaten records.
Striking in those games was the number of infractions each committed. The Eagles did so in key moments so they essentially defeated themselves after leading by two touchdowns entering the final quarter versus Denver, who play in London this weekend.
But it was good to observe that Denver quarterback Bo Nix was able to have that deficit and then lead three scoring drives in three attempts during the final period, securing the game by four points.
Denver boast the top defender in CB their star corner. They are first in red zone defence, while Philadelphia lead the league in scoring near the end zone, yet Denver won that contest.
They executed effective strategies regarding simulated pressure. They weren't always sending more than four defenders instead they might position two LBs in the 'A' gap then drop them out and send a slot defender off the edge.
At the start of the season, we said during a show that the Broncos might emerge as this season's dark horses. They finished last season strongly and excelled in continuing that momentum.
Are the Denver Broncos this year's underdog story?
Recently acquired TE Evan Engram has excelled significantly while recent running back their rusher is a player they believe in. He's currently 5th league-wide for rushing yards (over 400) and tied-fourth for rushing touchdowns (four).
It's impressive that the coach Sean Payton displays "RUN IT!" prominently on his call sheet.
This demonstrates that the Broncos represent a team that wants to prioritize the run, since one can achieve much off the back of that. It reduces opposing rushes and keeps you in positive situations.
This has benefited quarterback Bo Nix, who entered into the league as the 12th overall draft pick in the prior draft, throwing 29 touchdown passes – just behind Justin Herbert for the rookie record (31 in 2020).
Josh Allen and Herbert have powerful arms to pass anywhere, however they lack in the same way that Nix has. He boasts exceptional passing ability, which is different, and he's highly agile.
His strengths are his movement, being able to pass on the run, as well as finding varied release points to deliver the pass when he rolls out of the pocket, on rollouts. He is able to deliver that layered pass over the middle and over the corner.
For a young quarterback, aged 25, he displays a lot of poise under pressure and is not bothered by extra rushers. He aims to evade being tackled whenever possible and can throw under pressure. He has sharp intelligence and remains quick to decide.
If you consistently run the ball it eats up time and makes the defence to stay on the field extended periods, and when you've got a mobile QB the defense has to defend the field downfield and horizontally. It can be draining.
The quarterback has bitten back with the coach on the sideline sometimes and it seems Payton appreciates that fire, seeing him as a fierce rival. In my view it's exciting for the coach to have a rookie QB who's kind of like moldable clay. He can truly build something up how he desires to shape him. I believe it's a special experience for him.
Payton owns a championship and has surpassed Bill Parcells for career NFL wins (173, tying for 14th). He's seen it all. In my opinion the success the Broncos are experiencing offensively is largely due to his leadership, his play-calling, his situational awareness – and the pairing with the QB helps make him into who he is.
You wouldn't want a better guy guiding you, to help you during some of the tougher situations and boost confidence.
I believe in Denver's defence, in Bo Nix's tenacity and composure. But is the team good enough to face an elite team at its best? Because that wasn't championship-level play from Philadelphia last Sunday.
Currently, it's unlikely Denver are incredible. They're performing better than most, which is a solid position to hold the AFC West. All they need to do to continue this trajectory.
They're really good at embracing their strength, which is running the ball, and this is exactly what they should do versus the New York Jets in London. It's going to be the JK Dobbins show, in essence.
The Jets have allowed 140 rushing yards per game (sixth worst), five rushing touchdowns this season (10th worst), and they are the only team without a win any game.
Ever since the league started recording takeaways decades ago, this team are also the first team to go without any turnovers through five games, this is kind of shocking considering that the head coach was previously defensive co-ordinator with another team.
Patrick Mahomes stated the Chiefs have 'already lost too many games' after a recent loss by the Jaguars.
After this Sunday's game, the Broncos face a manageable slate up to their break (in week 12) - the New York Giants, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans plus Las Vegas Raiders before the Kansas City Chiefs.
Looking at the AFC West, Kansas City hold a losing record and the Broncos are tied with the Chargers on 3-2 so they could make a run for the top of the West.
It depends on what version Kansas City shows up they meet since Denver {beat|def
